One of the attractions of Cyprus to visit with a dog is Ledra Street. The name "Ledra" comes from the name of an ancient city that used to exist here. The Ledra is the island's main street, just over a kilometer long. The peculiarity lies in the fact that this street belongs to two states at the same time - Cyprus and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. This pedestrian street is perfect for walking the dog and getting acquainted with the capital.

If you are already in Cyprus then visiting Kyrenia Gate is a must. The gate is located in the north of Nicosia and serves as a passage to the old town. Unfortunately, only a part of this attraction has survived to this day - the arch and the guard room. Ascending to the top of the viewpoint, a breathtaking view of the surroundings opens before you.

After that, it's worth going into the mountains with your four-legged friend! Next to Nicosia - in the Troodos Mountains - is the famous Teisia tis Madaris footpath. Tourists here take amazing photos of scenic views of green forest, fairytale villages and nearby mountains with blue-smooth haze. You get particularly great pictures if you take photos during the sunset.

If you travel to Cyprus in winter then you don't have to miss the time when the almond trees blossom! This is a special event and annual celebration in Limnatis village, for which the residents are busy preparing. In Limnatis you can not only look at the trees covered with white and pink flowers, but also taste sweets and other products made from or with almonds, listen to local folk music and of course chat with friendly locals.

Interesting natural wonders sometimes meet on the shoreline – made of sea waves and stones. Very worth seeing of it is the "Love Bridge" - a naturally formed arch of rocks, or beach with sea caves - fantastic caves where pirates hid gold treasures according to legends.

And these are the beaches that you can visit with a dog: Glyki Nero Beach in Paralimni, Prolimnos near Limassol, beach near Neo Chorio village (Paphos region), Steradzha (Kato Pyrgos village near Nicosia), Kashanes (near the beach Spyros Beach). Here you can play with your dog, swim and enjoy walks along the empty seashore.
